Field Management
A strong ongoing commitment to meet our customers requirements is the mechanism that drives
the Inland field operation. Careful planning and strong dedication throughout the
entire year are crucial components in producing high volume crops that exceed some of the
industry's highest quality standards.
With an aggressive farmland development program, the Inland Field team effectively
coordinates and supervises all company growing operations to assure that quality, safety,
and environmental standards are all well within compliance.
Quality is the direct result of clear communication, root stock selection, variety selection,
optimum growing locations, pruning techniques, irrigation management, climate control
monitoring, thinning practices, and carefully harvesting only when the crop has reached that
perfect point of maturity.
Safety is achieved by implementation of personnel hygiene programs, ongoing inspection,
monitoring chemical applications to assure pre-harvest intervals, integrated pest management,
and product sampling.
Environmental Protection is assured by participating in the latest water conservation programs,
providing a "litter free" field environment, and complying with all EPA, State, and Federal
environmental requirements.
